1:00-1:30 7th & 8th grade choirs
1:30-2:00 First Half of Auction
2:00-2:30 High School Choirs
2:30-3:00 Last Half of Auction
3:00-4:00 Talent Show
4:00-4:30 Announce winners of small and large raffle
4:45 Grand Finale (This year’s theme “CAMP SONGS”)

Assessment Schedule!!

Hey Symphonic and Concert Choir Members!
Assessments begin on Monday – get pumped! I am so excited to have this time with you. There is a lot we will need to accomplish in a short amount of time, so always be prepared for your assessment. Remember – each assessment is worth 100 points…a big chunk of your grade for choir.
Next week: I would like to hear…
7th Grade: “Sing For Joy” measures 8-10
8th Grade: “Hey, for the Dancing!” the soprano, alto, and guys’ melody
Here are some guidelines that will help make your assessments much more successful.
- You are responsible for keeping track of your assessment time. Your teachers will not remind you. You are now 7th or 8th grade students; show us how accountable you can be.
- Bring your assessment materials with you to the class you will be coming out of for your assessment. You are allowed to leave one minute prior to your assigned time – no time to stop at your locker
- You will go directly from your assessment to your next class, tardies will not be excused – think ahead.

7th & 8th Graders – Your compositions are due Wednesday. Please remember I will be grading you on the following:
- Must have at least 16 measures
- Must have a clear beginning, middle, and end
- Your finished product must be very neat and easy to read
- Your composition must be yours; creative, original, YOU!
