Assessment Schedule!!

Posted by Miss Abel

Hey Symphonic and Concert Choir Members!

Assessments begin on Monday – get pumped!  I am so excited to have this time with you.  There is a lot we will need to accomplish in a short amount of time, so always be prepared for your assessment.  Remember – each assessment is worth 100 points…a big chunk of your grade for choir.

Next week: I would like to hear…

7th Grade: “Sing For Joy” measures 8-10

8th Grade: “Hey, for the Dancing!” the soprano, alto, and guys’ melody

Here are some guidelines that will help make your assessments much more successful.

  1. You are responsible for keeping track of your assessment time.  Your teachers will not remind you.  You are now 7th or 8th grade students; show us how accountable you can be.
  2. Bring your assessment materials with you to the class you will be coming out of for your assessment.  You are allowed to leave one minute prior to your assigned time – no time to stop at your locker
  3. You will go directly from your assessment to your next class, tardies will not be excused – think ahead.

The master schedule is attached.

Keep up the great work!
