This week we will continue our Debate Unit. Monday we will be in the lab creating our works cited pages, and then for the rest of the week we will be presenting our speeches. Good luck everyone!

This week we will continue our Debate Unit. We will spend Monday and Tuesday in the computer lab working on our research and creating note cards. Wednesday we will create our Debate outlines and Thursday we will write our Debates. Friday we will revise our debates with a friend.

This week we will begin our Debate Unit. We will learn how to create a solid argument, format a debate, find and find reliable sources. We will also pick our debate topics and partners and study prefixes and roots.

This week we will finish our Revolutionary War Letter Unit. We will also work with subordinating conjunctions, and get ready for our Sentence Test after break.

This week we will continue our Literature Circles Unit. We will study the conflicts in our novels. We will spend time reading and working on our journals, do an activity to help us prepare for the ISATs in March, and we will also finish reading Blood on the River.
