All ready means completely prepared.  The class is all ready for their Christmas Program.

Already means prior to.  The class already practiced their music before the concert.

Mrs. Henderson’s 3 oldest daughters decided to go shopping on Black Friday.  They left Thursday at 10 PM and got home Friday at 10:15 AM.  How long did those crazy girls shop?

The Hendersons decided to get some exercise after Thanksgiving dinner so they walked across the street to the playground.  They left at 3:20 and came back at 4:30.  How long were they at the playground?

If Mrs. Henderson put her turkey in the oven at 9:30 AM and took it out at 12:15 PM.  How long did Mrs. Henderson cook her turkey?

The Henderson kids had to clean their rooms.  They started at 10:45 AM.  They had to pick up, dust and vacuum their rooms.  They finished at 12:15 PM.  How long were they cleaning their room?
